Steve Driehaus (Senegal ’88 – ’90 and recently Peace Corps Country Director in Swaziland for five years) is returning to the US from his current assignment as Peace Corps Director, Morocco.  In this interview with local NPR affiliate WVXU, Driehaus says he has no plans run for office.  Driehaus served eight years in the Ohio House and two years in the US House of Representatives. However, Driehaus does plan to “form a foundation with other former Peace Corps officials to help young women in Swaziland who have survived the HIV epidemic to develop life skills and improve their standard of living,” according to WVXU.  CARV looks forward to welcoming Steve home and to learn more about his experiences in Africa and his new foundation.
