Harris Wofford, Peace Corps Pioneer, Dies at 92

Harris Wofford was an advisor to John F. Kennedy and a friend of Martin Luther King, Jr.  He was committed to volunteerism and community service.  One of the legacies that grew from those contacts and commitments was the Peace Corps.  Wofford worked with Sargent Shriver to create the agency and remained a part of the Peace Corps and the National Peace Corps Association over the years.  Wofford passed away on January 21 at the age of 92.  Click here for an inspiring article on the NPCA website.
