CARV Steps Up for Refugees Again

Wednesday December 18, 2019

CARV members Alberta Hemsley (Philippines 67 – 69) and Annie Scheid Jasinski (Jamaica 91 – 93) spearheaded a successful drive to collect toys, books, household and personal items for refugee families in the Cincinnati area.  As seen below, Catholic Charities staff enjoyed singing “This Land is Your Land” with the Queen City Balladeers at a meeting of the Greater Cincinnati Democrats before loading a van-ful of fun and useful gifts for those in need.  Thank you to all the generous CARV members who donated time and effort to this service project.
