Senators have until COB June 14 to sign the Peace Corps Funding Dear Colleague Letter from the offices of Senators Isakson and Feinstein. Please call the Senate office(s) below and use the script to give them the information they need to make the right decision and sign the letter. Just a few minutes of your time could mean the Peace Corps has the resources it needs to fuel the next generation of American leadership.

  • Senator Portman has not signed a Peace Corps Funding Letter in previous years.
  • Senator Brown has already signed the letter. Way to go, Ohio RPCVs!

Talking Points:

  • Please support “robust funding” for the Peace Corps for fiscal year 2018 by signing the Isakson-Feinstein Dear Colleague Letter. (Download and share the letter if asked.)
  • The president’s budget requests a nearly $12-million decrease from the agency’s current funding level of $410 million.
  • Robust funding is needed to field more Volunteers to implement HIV/AIDS, global food security, and malaria prevention projects, and fuel the next generation of American leadership.
